The Military Order of the Purple Heart Alamo Chapter 1836 represents more than 830 members in and around the San Antonio, Texas area.  Each member is a Purple Heart recipient and welcomes all Veterans.  

The Chapter General Meeting meets once a month at VFW Post 9186 located at 650 VFW Boulevard, TX, 78223 (Phone 210 534-1525) at 9:30 am on the first Saturday of each month.

The Executive Meeting will take place at Don Pedro Mexican Restaurant at 1526 SW Military Dr San Antonio TX 78221 (Phone 210 922-3511) on the Tuesday before the General Meeting of each month. Below is the 2024 Monthly Meeting Dates.

The Chapter's members have earned the Purple Heart Medal in campaigns that include World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
